Careers in the Built Environment Mentoring Program
We are a support group for individuals interested in pursuing careers in professions that design, build, maintain and preserve the environment in which we live.
Careers supported by the program include:
- Architecture
- Construction Management
- Interior Architecture / Interior Design
- Landscape Architecture
- Urban Planning
Some of the individual served by the program include those:
- With prior degrees in fields outside of the built environment
- With degrees from abroad (inside or outside of a built environment field)
- Interested in a second career in a built environment field
- Intending to acquire a specific certification within built environment field
What can we do for you?
- Introduce you to other individuals with similar career interests
- Offer advise on academic programs and credentials relevant to your intended career path
- Make course recommendations for portfolio building
- Provide support for National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification
- Provide support Construction Documents Technology (CDT) Examination
