Jumpstart is an opportunity for Chicago’s rising seniors to begin college and build a foundation for their future career during the year leading up to their graduation. Students will complete 3 college courses to earn a basic certificate in a career pathway that will support a postsecondary plan to pursue a 4-year degree, 2-year degree, or enter the workforce. The City Colleges of Chicago have Dual Credit partnerships with some Chicago Public Schools. Classes are taken at the high school and the credits apply toward high school graduation and also transfer to one of the City Colleges of Chicago. For more information on these opportunities visit the Dual Credit page on the website for the City Colleges of Chicago, and also ask your high school advisors about these opportunities.
Students will earn a Basic Certificate in Architectural Digital Media.
